Genesis 6:11-12 – Sound Familiar?

Noahs+Arkcrop

Genesis 6:11-12 says:

11 Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence.12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways.

Sounds familiar doesn’t it?

Isaiah 59:11 says- “…..we look for justice, but find none; for deliverance, but it is far away.”

Hmmmmm.

Isaiah 59:14 says – “So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter.”

Right. So I wonder what God’s response to this type of behavior and actions from His people are?  Oh right, it is in Jeremiah 7-9 which says:

“Why should I forgive you?  Your children have forsaken me and sworn by gods that are not gods.  I supplied all their needs, yet they committed adultery and thronged to the houses of prostitutes.  They are well-fed, lusty stallions, each neighing for another man’s wife.  Should I not punish them for this?”  declares the Lord.  “Should I not avenge myself on such a nation as this?”

Wow.  Well Genesis 6:11-12 was right before God flooded the ENTIRE EARTH and wiped out all humanity with the exception of Noah and his family.  Sobering to say the least.

It desperate times such as these, we Christians have the obligation to first pray to God and worship Him and diligently seek His forgiveness and His patience.  Next, we must seek peace and justice among ourselves while we still can.

Unless calmer heads prevail and do so quickly, things are going to get more out of hand than we ever could imagine.  Yet our God is patient and if we turn back to Him, He will be faithful to forgive and to heal us.

Folks hear me when I say this – ALL     LIVES      MATTER!!!  Anything less than this is a sin!

Black, white, yellow purple, Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, man, woman, children, tall, short, skinny, fat, large, small – ALL   LIVES   MATTER!

I pray that we would all recognize this, turn to God and ask for peace and calm, and let us here in America return to the Christian values that this nation was founded on:

“ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL”  Further, God created all man to be equal and thus of value to Him.  Let us not see it any other way.

With Love,
